2008 Season
Dear Community Leaders:
It is with great enthusiasm that we announce the beginning of the fifteenth season for the Putnam County Children's Theatre. The PCCT has grown in strength and numbers, and we owe a great deal of our success to supporters like you.
Each year, the PCCT strives to provide an experience in the Arts to students between the ages of 4th grade thru 11th grade. The number of student actors in the past has numbered between 50-125 cast members each year. This year we will have one production: Gone with the Breeze'. We will hire a director. We project that approximately 60 students from all the county schools will be taking part. The growth has been steady and encouraging to the many volunteers of this organization.
The breakdown of the base cost of this year's production is: Directors ~$600, scripts $220, vocal score $8, royalties $175, and Rehearsal CD $65. for a total of ~$1,068.00. This does not include advertising for a director and the publicity for the production. We would like to invite you to help support the Putnam County Children's Theatre. With your financial support, we will be able to provide a large, unique group of young people an experience that will help to develop self-esteem, character and leadership ability.
